EA discusses future of Harry Potter games after the movies
Electronic Arts, the company that produces the Harry Potter video games for Warner Bros., hopes to make the Boy Who Lived continue to entertain game fans, even after the two-part Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has bowed out of theaters. Dan loses his pants in next Harry Potter film
Daniel Radcliffe will appear naked in the next Harry Potter film, he has revealed. The 19-year-old, who first appeared in Equus, admits he was unsure when he was told he would be appearing without trousers in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter fairytales to be published
A collection of fairytales penned by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is to be published. The Tales of Beedle the Bard, which Rowling first mentioned in The Deathly Hallows, will go on sale on December 4. The book will feature additional commentary on each fairytale from Professor Dumbledore, and an introduction by Rowling. [more...]

Harry Potter drives Scholastic's global sales
Scholastic's global sales were up 15% to $2,205.6m in the year to end-May 2008, driven by strong Harry Potter trade sales of approximately $270m following its US publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in July 2007. It also said that a strong performance in the UK, Australia and Asia contributed to the increase. [more...]

J.K.'s magical $300 million eclipses Hollywood stars
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling's earnings have dwarfed those made by Hollywood's biggest stars. She made £150 million in the last year, ahead of Oprah Winfrey, who earned £137.5 million. Her books have sold 375 million copies worldwide and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has sold 44 million copies alone since last July. [more...]

Fans rush to snap up Deathly Hallows in Japanese
A throng of Harry Potter fans flocked to book stores on early Wednesday, eagerly awaiting the release of the Japanese translation of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. The Edinburgh hotel suite where JK Rowling completed the Harry Potter series has become a Mecca for fans across the world, at almost £1000 a night. Renamed the J.K. Deathly Hallows now available in Hindi
The Hindi edition of the seventh book in the Harry Potter series "Harry Potter Aur Maut Ke Tohafe" (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) was released in Bhopal, India, on Friday. John Hurt hinting he'd like to be in Hallows
John Hurt, who played Mr Ollivander in the 2001 movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, says he hopes to return for the final installment of the boy wizard franchise Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which will be split into two.
