In a twist of ironic fate, Warner has sent out a brand new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince just one week before the film was originally scheduled to open. A bust in China yielded movies including Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. | Poll ranks Harry Potter most anticipated movie of next year |
In a survey conducted between Aug. 8 and Oct. 5, nearly 4,000 movie fans who had just purchased tickets at MovieTickets.com picked their "most anticipated" films over the next 12 months. | Potter actors nominated for British Independent Film Awards |
Harry Potter actors Ralph Fiennes, who plays Lord Voldemort, Brendan Gleeson, who plays Mad-Eye Moody, and David Thewlis, Remus Lupin in the Potter films, are being recognised at this year's British Independent Film Awards. ABC Family has secured cable rights to the Harry Potter series by purchasing the rights to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, 10 months before its theatrical debut. | Bollywood's Hari Puttar premiere postponed over lawsuit |
The Bollywood children's film Hari Puttar has been forced to postpone its premiere after the Hollywood studio behind the Harry Potter blockbusters took the Indian producers to court over the title.
